• Dental Receptionist for Dental Clinic in Burnaby, BC
• Full Time Admin with (ideally) a minimum of 1 year experience
• Knowledge with Tracker 11 an asset
• Monday to Friday: 9 to 5, except Wednesdays is 11 to 7 and alternating Saturdays

The Dental Receptionist is primarily responsible for ensuring all patients receive a friendly and knowledgeable experience while visiting the practice. This individual will be responsible for greeting patients as they arrive, attending to the phone lines, responding to inquiries, processing payments, scheduling appointments and ensuring each patient has an excellent experience. The Dental Receptionist will also be responsible for a variety of other assigned administrative duties.

JOB DUTIES – Some of the job duties will include:
• Respond to patient inquiries providing knowledgeable and accurate information on a variety of topics such as work to be done, billing inquiries and scheduling.
• Assist new patients to the office and walk-ins providing information pertaining to services offered, hours of operation, payment options, treatment/services and all other relevant information.
• Provide new patients with required paperwork ensuring all signatures are obtained and important information is noted such as allergies and medical conditions, inputting into the organization’s practice management software.
• Process payment for procedures performed billing the client or forwarding to the patient’s insurance provider.
• Collect monies owing from patients as they arrive at the dental office, processing cash, debit and credit transactions.
• Schedule appointments over the phone and in person according to the organization’s scheduling policy and procedures.
• Process insurance payments as they arrive from insurance providers entering accurately into the practice management software application.
