The Role: of the Early Childhood Educator (ECE) provides an enriched program for children which meet the needs of the families in the community. The ECE all provides opportunities for children with both typical and special needs to interact on a daily basis. The ECE works in conjunction with the Manager to ensure the needs of the children are met.

    Education & Experience:

  • Completion of Early Childhood Education Certification
  • Related training in the area of children with special needs and/or Under 3 Training, as required by licensing
  • Minimum 1 year with integrated groups of pre-school aged children
  • Experience with special needs functional assessment, individual and group program design and evaluation
  • Experience in the area of Behaviour management

Standard requirements of the Early Childhood Educator include:

  • Criminal Record Clearance
  • Medical Clearance
  • Valid Frist Aid/CPR
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention Certification
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Eligible to work in Canada

  • Mon/Tues/Wed/Thur/Fri – rotation shifts from 0715-1745 / 37.5 hours per weeki

Fraser Health Authority is seeking a Food Service Worker 1 to perform a variety of duties in a dietary department including ware-washing, cleaning of work areas and equipment, serve and portioning of food for patients and residents.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assembles patient/resident meal trays according to menus. Serves meals to ECU residents in dining room bulk rethermalization system.
  • Loads, delivers, collects and unloads meal service carts. Clears and cleans dining room tables in Extended Care Unit.
  • Makes beverages and food items such as tea, coffee and toast. Portions foods for patients and residents according to specified requirements.
  • Assembles items such as sandwiches and salads.
  • Washes, peels and stores vegetables and fruit.
  • Washes dishes and utensils either by hand or machine.
  • Stacks clean dishes and utensils.
  • Brings out and puts away supplies as required.
  • Performs cleaning duties such as sweeping and damp mopping floors, cleaning counter tops, sinks, cupboards, shelves, machines and equipment and spot washes wall and splash areas.
  • Follows HACCP protocol and records temperatures as per HACCP regulations.
  • Answers phone and takes messages.
  • Removes soiled linen and garbage from work area.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Food Safe Level 1 Certification.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.

  • Loves working with people and loves Floral Design!

  • MUST be available to work a variety of shifts – including evenings and weekends
  • Have an excellent command of the English language and very good communication skills (written and oral)
