Our Programs and Courses

Burnaby Community & Continuing Education offers a wide variety of specialized certificates, diplomas and apprenticeship programs for adult students. With official certification to verify the skills and knowledge you have learned, these programs give you an important advantage in today’s competitive job market.

Burnaby Community & Continuing Education offers a number of Horticulture programs – many with a cutting edge, organic focus. These programs will appeal to professional landscapers who want to provide environmentally sound services to their clients. They will also appeal to home gardeners who would like to focus on health plants and healthy gardens. Many of our programs offer a certificate or diploma to those who successfully complete the program.

Our Horticulture programs are highly regarded in the industry. Karen Flynn, our program supervisor, was the recipient of the 2014 Educator of the Year award presented by the BC Landscape & Nursery Association.
